Who is Sassy?

I am many things. I am pagan, bisexual, polyamorous, submissive. I am a muse, a preacher, a sex worker activist, a stripper, a model, and a graphic designer. I am a friend to all those who are open to the self annihilation of love.

The Sassy Edge is my voice.

My experiences began as a graphic designer. I started my work in mainstream entertainment as a freelance designer. Success in this field inevitably lead to working with adult entertainment, where the services of a graphic designer are forever in demand. Where content is King, work is easy to come by. I started to delve into the community in order to expand my professional network and found myself enjoying the people quite a bit. They were uninhibited, unpretentious and vibrant. Amongst artists and adult entertainers, I felt I had found my kin.

This road took me to Wank Punter. Currently I am touring with the porn rock party band as an official Fluffette. What exactly is a porn rock party band? Those involved in the creation of Wank Punter have had many personal experiences in adult entertainment. Their skilled musicianship and hysterical lyrics combined to make for quite the musical adventure. The lyric explores our sexual universe, from personal sexual mishaps in a regular person's life to the entertaining incidents that unfold amongst professional sex workers. With songs like "Captain Cockblock" mocking the trials of dating, to "Sex Worker" illuminating the private frustrations of those who fall in love with the working girl, to "Mainstream is Learning" discussing the moral stance of sexuality, and "Kirsten Price" worshiping some of the goddesses of adult entertainment - no stone is left unturned. In order to provide the authentic sexually charged air of adult entertainment in their performances, and ensure they themselves were kept highly amused on and off stage, the band decided to tour with flirtatious and occasionally scandalous dancers: The Fluffettes. Occasionally we are accompanied by guest porn stars, who have never failed to escalate the debauchery on stage.

I had the pleasure of appearing with Wank Punter on episodes of Zalmen King's "Body Language", three episodes on Playboy TV's "Nightcalls", have joined KSex Radio, and even make the odd visit to Hardcore Sports Radio. We've opened Montreal's Best Adult Awards and have preformed at sex conventions across North America. With them I've been everywhere from LA's Whiskey A Go Go to Toronto's Opera House.

While working with the band, opportunities to model began to surface. I do not participate in anything overtly pornographic, as my tastes tend toward the playful, flirtatious, mysterious and sometimes theatrical elements of sexuality. This has extended to modeling for artists, who find my unusual nature appealing, and my open soul inspiring.

I have learned to walk no real path and I follow no particular set of rules. I've always had a deep and vibrant love for life. I follow my soul where it bids me, even if it seems mad and takes me to uncharted territory. I do not try to plan each step of my life, but I take any positive opportunities that come my way. It is dangerous to over think life - stop weaving and see how the pattern improves.

I love doing new things, and constantly challenging myself. The unknown is a terrifying thing, and fear forever nips at my heels, but that only assures me that I am alive and well. I love to experiment, explore, and test myself. Life is about perspective, and in order to get a good perspective one needs to peek in all the nooks and crannies.

What Is The Sassy Edge?
We live in a world where communication and information is being wrenched from the hands of giant corporate conglomerates and politicians, where intellectual discussion is no longer the territory of the intellectual elite. The voice is being given back to the people, in fact this may be the first time we ever had it. With the Internet, the voice of the individual is more powerful than is has ever been in human history. I am a strong believer that we must each exercise that voice and help shape the world. Here I will share my humour, thoughts, knowledge, reach out to the world, and hope to make connections.
